898.x Can body was not ejected / diverted
Description
An ejected can body passes through the confirmatory sensor too late or does not pass at all.
Remedy
- No can bodies must be removed after the ejection sensor of the dynamic can deflector.
- The ejection belt speed has been changed without performing calibration.
- Check confirmatory sensor (sensor no. 2 on the DCD viewed in the direction of travel.
- Test cabling and I/O card.
- The magnetic force on the flat belt conveyor is too great and must be reduced.
- The distance between the magnets and the can body is too large and must be reduced.
- Check lateral guides.
Check DCD sensor distance.
- With just one can-body sensor at the static magnets: sensor distance = 0 mm (FBB)
- With a can-body sensor before the DCD and a can-body sensor at the static magnets: sensor distance = distance between both sensors (AFB)
- With just one can-body sensor before the DCD: sensor distance = distance between the can-body sensor and the middle of the first active magnet (FBB and AFB, approx. 400 mm)
