681.x Overtemperature: Inductor 1
Description
Induction oven generator
The temperature monitoring of inductor 1 (terminal X1 on the device) indicates overtemperature. The seven-segment display of the inductor indicates '1'.
Remedy
If the fault only occurs after prolonged operation, a thermal overload of the inductor is likely.
- Test the inductor cooling air (if present) and the suction.
- Reduction of inductor current.
If the fault occurs immediately upon switching on (with the inductor cool), a defective temperature measurement is likely.
- Test the temperature sensor in the inductor. A cold sensor should have an ohmic resistance of less than 200 ohm.
