699.x Overtemperature: Inductor 2

Description

Induction oven generator

The temperature monitoring of inductor 2 (terminal X2 on the device) indicates overtemperature.
The seven-segment display of the inductor indicates '2'.

Remedy

If the fault only occurs after prolonged operation, a thermal overload of the inductor is likely.

  • Test the inductor cooling air (if present) and the suction.
  • Reduction of inductor current.

If the fault occurs immediately upon switching on (with the inductor cool), a defective temperature measurement is likely.

  • Test the temperature sensor in the inductor. A cold sensor should have an ohmic resistance of less than 200 ohm.
