630.x Encoder
Description
An error regarding the position encoder of the motor has occurred.
Remedy
The reaction of the encoder can be checked by means of the 'Up/Down' LED on ACOPOSmulti if the motor is moved.
To efficiently look for encoder errors, it is sometimes useful to connect the encoder cable of another motor to the ACOPOSmulti. It is also helpful to swap two encoder cables in order to observe whether the error also occurs in the other servo amplifier. Do not start the machine in this state!
- Connection to the position encoder interrupted/detached.
- Faults on encoder cable (check wire routing, NEVER route the encoder cable parallel to the motor cable.)
- Shield or encoder cable defective.
- Position encoder defective (change motor).
- ACOPOSmulti encoder analysis defective (change ACOPOSmulti or the resolver card).
