631.x Wire traction unstable
Description
The wire traction is monitored. If the wire traction is not constant or exceeds/falls below the warning limits, the machine is stopped.
Remedy
0 = wire traction not constant:- Check can-body gap
- Check the wire stretch
- Check pulleys/guide pulleys
- Check the wire profiling/wire width
- Check the profiling disks of the profiler
- Close the wire chopper
- Check the wire chopper groove
- Check pulleys/guide pulleys
- Wire traction setpoints must not be set too close to the minimum/maximum
