871.x Erector DCU: Magnet off time between cans too short
Description
With the DCU can upender, the magnets are switched on sequentially and all switched off at the same time after the magnet shutdown distance. For the can upender to work, the magnets in production must be switched off for each can body.
This is not possible with the entered parameters for production, can upender speed, can body height, switch-on distance of the magnets and switch-off distance of the magnets.
Remedy
- Check the above parameters.
- Reduce the switching on and off times of the magnets.
- Increase the speed of the can upender.
- Reduce the production rate of the welding machine.
