842.x Line stop

Description

A can-body jam has occurred in the EAC, DCS, can upender or the line interface.
The deflector at the end of the oven will be closed and all can bodies will be ejected. The burners remain switched on.
A line stop is triggered in the welding machine. This line stop can only be acknowledged with the Oven ON button.
If parameter $OvenEacFaultSetOvenToLowFlame = TRUE, the oven is set to flame low (300°C) in the event of this fault.

Remedy

Possible causes:

Jam detected on the EAC conveyor.
Jam is detected when the sensor is covered for more than 2.5 can-body lengths.

  • Remove the jam on the EAC, can upender and let the system run again.
  • Switch on line control. Check line interface.
  • Observe can-body flow and clear obstacles.
  • Check production, can-body gap, and can-body height on the GCC.
  • Check transport speed. V=(height + gap) * production.
  • Check the digital input.

The conveyor system has reported a fault after the EAC (e.g. vertical transport, upender or line system).

  • Check the conveyor downstream from the oven/EAC.
  • Check the digital input.

The "Eject all can bodies" button was pressed on the remote control while production was in progress.

  • Reset the "Eject all can bodies" button.
  • Check the digital input.

With the DCS, a can body was not deflected correctly.

  • Check the function of the DCS
  • Check the digital input.

During pneumatic ejection downstream from the oven, a can body was not ejected.

  • Check the pneumatic ejection
  • Check the digital input.
