838.x Monitor: Input signal out of range
Description
The monitor analog input signal is out of range. The sensor signal can be adjusted by means of reset pulse (Reset=24 V). The monitor node automatically sets the reset signal in Machine OFF when the analog input signal shows a certain deviation from 0 V. The analog input signal can be checked at the corresponding connectors on the measuring card.
Remedy
- Weld a new can-body series and check whether an error message is issued (if not, reset was successful).
- Check whether the measuring bridge is correctly connected (connector in calibrating tool).
- Check wiring and power supply of the entire sensor system (including the interface card).
- Measure the analog input signal and, if possible, the reset pulse.
- If the analog input signal is approx.- 12V, it indicates an interruption outside the monitor box or a defective interface card.
