Description

Feeder/rollformer: sheet flow monitoring
The flow of the sheet from the feeder to the rollformer can be monitored. This monitoring is only active if "Dynamic monitoring double-sheet deflector" has been selected in the options.
The following is checked:

• Single sheet from feeder to rollformer: ARS sheet detector detects the sheet.
• Ejection of a detected double sheet: ARS sheet detector does not detect any sheet.
• The single sheet detector functions when a sheet is missing: ARS sheet detector detects a missing sheet.

 

Remedy

Detected double sheet is not ejected:

• Check functionality of the double-sheet deflector.
• Check ARS sheet detector.
• Check rounding speed.
• Change the double-sheet monitor option from dynamic to static.
• Check the digital input. 

Sheet is not transported:

• Check ARS sheet detector.
• Check rounding speed.
• Change the double-sheet monitor option from dynamic to static.
• Check the digital input. 

Additional sheet was detected in the rollformer:

• Check feeder single sheet sensor.
• Check rounding speed.
• Change the double-sheet monitor option from dynamic to static.
• Check the digital input.
