Description

Powder Soucoat equipment with pressure control
The pressure in the powder feed and in the powder recycling systems is monitored by means of pressure sensors.

Remedy

• In case of pressure drop:
  • Check/clean sensor filter.
  • Check the function of the powder gate.
  • Check the powder feed injector in the CPF.
  • Check the minimum powder level in the CPF.
  • Check the powder tubes from the CPF to the spray head.
  • Check the proportional valves.
  In case of increase in pressure:
  • Check/clean the powder tubes from the CPF to the spray head.
  • Check/replace the injector nozzle.

• In case of pressure drop (more vacuum):
  • Check/clean the powder tubes from the spray head to the CPF.
  In case of increase in pressure (less vacuum):
  • Check/clean sensor filter.
  • Check the powder tubes from the spray head to the CPF.

• Check powder application and suction. If OK, calibrate again the powder pressure monitor.
• Set the limits of powder pressure monitor.
• Check the wiring to the control unit.
• Replace the analog card.
