663.x ARS/SRM: Out of Measuring Range

Description

The Adaptive Rounding System ARS could not determine the impact point on the measuring plate.

Remedy

General:

• Check entry of can-body diameter.
• Check rounding speed.

If the control unit shows the impact point on the left (minimum):

• The flexer wedge is too low.

If the control unit shows the impact point on the right (maximum):

• Check signal from the measuring plate to UNICONTROL input. If the measuring plate is electrically connected to a rounding roll, input must change from 1 to 0. Otherwise all electrical connections must be checked.
• The flexer wedge is too high or no sheet impact was registered.
