414.x Powder: RS232 communication fault
Description
Communication (RS232) with HVS card or powder monitor hardware in lower arm has been interrupted.
Remedy
Without powder monitor, high-voltage card in CPF only:- Grounded brush ledge must touch the can body.
- Check wiring: from node to HVS card in the CPF (cables, plugs, etc.).
- Check the HVS grounding system. See the HVS troubleshooting instructions.
- CPF, FDC and powder lines are grounded. See the HVS troubleshooting instructions.
- Check electrode holders, replace if necessary. See the HVS troubleshooting instructions.
- Hardware error, replace HVS card.
- Replace Unicontrol CPU var /100 or /110 (RS 232).
- If the above measure does not help, isolate RS232 galvanically. Ask Soudronic AG for a conversion kit.
Status LED dark:
- Check wiring: from node to PCC terminal adapter plug X7 (cables, plugs etc.).
- Check power supply in the CPF module U1.
- Hardware error, replace powder monitor card.
Status LED red is on:
- Grounded brush ledge must touch the can body.
- Check the HVS grounding system. See the HVS troubleshooting instructions.
- CPF, FDC and powder lines are grounded. See the HVS troubleshooting instructions.
- Check electrode holders, replace if necessary. See the HVS troubleshooting instructions.
- Replace Unicontrol CPU var /100 or /110 (RS 232).
- If the above measure does not help, isolate RS232 galvanically. Ask Soudronic AG for a conversion kit.
