Error 103.x Monitor: too many samples
Description
The number of measuring points between two machine cycle pulses has changed excessively while production is in progress. Deviation >6%
This monitoring is used to remind the operator to do a new calibration after the production speed or the frequency has changed.
But a more important reason is: That the fault is triggered if the machine cycle signal is faulty.
- If during one machine cycle two or more clock pulses appeared. In this case the monitor gets out of synchronization and start rejecting the wrong cans.
 - If one machine cycle is missing.

Remedy
- After every change of the production parameters (welding frequency or production rate), calibrate the monitor again.
 - If the machine cycle signal has failed, check the machine cycle signal and current path.
 - If machine cycle signal coincides with the can-body leading end, adjust position of switching disk by a few degrees.
 - In the event of fluctuations in the welding current frequency, measure the frequency.
 - Soucan 100, AFB 100 with can-body sensor before welding plane:
- in case of slippage differences the can body welding takes longer This leads to different can-body gaps. Check the cut blanks and compare the length of the tin mark with the can-body height (max. 2.5%).
