Fine tune the double sheet detector with the: "Double sheet: correction" value on the parameter page
Description
To set the response threshold of the double-sheet detector, the sheet thickness must be entered over the HMI.
a) If the sheet thickness input is entered correctly but the system still ejects single sheets as double sheets, the sheet thickness value can be increased in small steps until the system no longer recognizes single sheets as double sheets.
b) If the sheet thickness input is entered correctly but the system does not eject double sheets, the sheet thickness value can be decreased in small steps, until the system rejects single sheets. Then increase the value until the single sheets are no longer ejected.
If this value deviates too much, it can be corrected on the parameter page.
Remedy
Make sure
- That the roll gap of the first conveyor roll is correctly set. (Sheet thickness minus 0.05 mm)
- The sheet thickness value must be increased in small steps until the system no longer recognizes single sheets as double sheets
- The difference between target sheet thickness and actual sheet thickness must be considered in the “Double sheet: correction” parameter.
a) If you had to increase the sheet thickness by 0.06mm add the difference to the current value of the "Double sheet: correction"
b) If you had to decrease the sheet thickness by 0.06mm, subtract the difference to the current value of the "Double sheet: correction"
Double click to go to the parameter page.
Scroll down to the “Double sheet: correction” parameter
Confirm with this button.
Press this button to start entering the framed value.
Note down the five-digit number and confirm.
To get the password which you need to enter, use the password program on the flash disk/USB stick (\Program\Password\PasswordN.exe)
or call Soudronic
Enter the password.
a) Increase the “Value” (-0.02mm) by 0.06mm (for example -0.02mm + 0.06mm = 0.04mm) or
b) Decrease the "Value" (-0.02mm) by 0.06mm (for example -0.02mm - 0.06mm = -0.08mm)
Confirm the entry
