Pulsar software update

Description

Condition

There must be a valid application on the USB stick. The USB stick must be released for the software update by the development department. For this, the Unisoud.hex file is copied into the root directory of the memory stick.

Procedure for software download 

 

  1. Plug the USB stick into plug X1 “USB-Flash” and create <SERVICE -FILE - Backup> on USB stick. 
  2. Restart PULSAR with <SERVICE - Reboot CPU>. Confirmation is now requested via a flashing display. The additional steps are explained on the PULSAR display. During the download (approx. 45 sec), the display may be empty. A flashing confirmation must appear at the end. 
  3. Remove the USB stick 
  4. Carry out a <SERVICE - Factory Reset> (the operator level is the service level). 
  5. Plug the USB stick into plug X1 “USB-Flash” and create <SERVICE -FILE - Restore> on USB stick.
