Issue
Procedure after an unforeseen power failure that has destroyed the D:\ partition.
Remedy
Format D:
- Remove the flash disk from the PC.
- Connect a keyboard to the PC.
- Start the monitor (machine)
- Press the green confirmation key until there is no more error.
- Press the keys Alt (keep pressed) and F4 on the keyboard → The GCC will close.
The Windows interface with the start button appears. - Press the start button with your finger.
- Move the field with the blue background upwards with the keyboard arrow key until you
reach the field 'Run'. - Confirm with the Enter key.
- Write the words ' format d: ' in the field and confirm with the Enter key. Follow the
instructions. - Turn off the main switch of the monitor (machine).
- Insert the flash disk into the PC. (Make sure the manufacturer's label (e.g. SanDisk) of the
flash disk is facing the lower side). - Restart the monitor (machine).
- The monitor page should restart without errors.
- On the software installation page, press the Restore button. This will copy the old settings
back to the PC.
- Follow the instructions which ask you to switch off the monitor (machine).
- Switch the monitor (machine) on again.
- On the software installation page, press the Software installation key. This will copy the software back to the PC.
- Follow the instructions which ask you to switch off the monitor (machine).
- Remove the flash disk.
- Restart the monitor (machine).
