When accessing Soudronic data, all users (internal and external) must perform MFA.
Mulltifactor Authentication (MFA) when Access Soudronic AG Data
In this guide we will show you the External Users (Guest Accounts) Process creating his MFA Method.
- Invitation: A guest account can be created in several ways: by sharing a document/folder in OneDrive or SharePoint, or by creating a guest account with an invitation from the administrator. The email received may vary depending on the invitation method, but the process to create the MFA method is the same in all cases.
E.g.: OneDrive Share E-Mail
- Registration: After you accept the invitation or try to open the shared folder/document, you will see the "Permission Requested by:" window, which you accept by clicking "Accept".
- MFA: A new window appears for the MFA request, which you accept by clicking "Next".
- MFA method: In this step we will use an SMS method that does not require you to install an app on your phone, click the "I want to set up another method" link. If you prefer the MS Authenticator app, just click "Next".
- Select "Phone" and confirm in the next windows.
- Select your Country, enter your Phone Number and press "Next".
- Select your country, enter your phone number and press "Next".
- Confirm the next two windows with "Next" to confirm the successfully MFA registration.
