How to Make and Send A *.zip File of your Machine Data
Issue:
All the parameters, monitor limits, can data sets, GCC options, statistics, and system errors are stored in the data section on your target PC hard disk.
Sometimes it is very helpful if we could test the application parts with your own exact machine data.
Remedy:
Precondition: The software was installed and the machine is running well.
1. Make a backup from your actual machine data to your flash disk.
2. Be sure that the backup was successfully done.
3. You will find your machine data on your flash disk. Flashdiskdrive:\Data\*.*
4. If you can read this flash disk, you can make a zip file from the Data directory.
(Remark: we are not interested in the Program directory, just the Data directory.)
5. Rename the zip file from data.zip to the KM-number of your machine (e.g. KM12345.zip).
(Remark: a file named "data.zip" will be removed from the E-mail server.)
6. Send this renamed zip file per E-mail to: service@soudronic.com
> This way, we are able to check your own exact system with the new application software.
